Everyone knows how much of a struggle it can be to find the motivation to sit down at your desk and work for hours on end. Music can often give us that dopamine boost we so desperately need to get through our piles of work. From upbeat dance tunes to calming RnB tracks, our recommendations for K-pop songs to add to your study playlist should satisfy any kind of student.

Hit Song - SEVENTEEN

The clue is in the title of this track! Any good playlist must have a SEVENTEEN track on it and this song is a hit for tackling your large to-do list. The standout on this track has to be the hip hop team’s RnB rap verses. Their deep voices will soothe you in your studies.

PLAYING WITH FIRE - BLACKPINK

“PLAYING WITH FIRE” takes on a more toned down approach compared to BLACKPINK’s usual party tracks. While the track still packs a punch with its loud instrumentals and the girls’ disarming vocals, “PLAYING WITH FIRE” would be a perfect addition to the end of your study playlist for one final push at the end of a long day.

Good Evening - SHINee

Rather than listening to a ballad, some people prefer an upbeat track to get them going. “Good Evening” is the perfect song to give you an energy boost to get your work done without distracting you too much. The instrumental chorus is light and the members’ vocals will settle your stressed mind.

DAYDREAM - IZ*ONE

Taking influences from 90s dance pop and flashes of city pop, “DAYDREAM” is exactly as described, a dreamy song that you can melt into. The track will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the day.

Upper Side Dreamin’ - ENHYPEN

It’s hard to not feel energetic when listening to ENHYPEN’s catchy tracks; their youth is infectious. The cool and jazzy “Upper Side Dreamin’” is sure to help you focus on your studies. The bouncy chorus and immaculate vocals will get you in the mood to get some work done.

Gone - Rosé

While this track does tug at your heartstrings, Rosé’s powerful yet light voice will help put you at ease. Take some stress off by listening to the gentle acoustic instrumentals. The simple but compelling lyrics won’t distract you too much from your task and are easy to sing along to.

Palette - IU feat. G-DRAGON

IU has the perfect voice to study to. Her airy vocals are perfect background noise to get you comfortable to work. Any IU song is a great addition to your study playlist, but “Palette” is our personal favourite. IU’s soft vocals are enough to ease your stress when getting a job done.

Take You Home - BAEKHYUN

The king of RnB in K-pop, BAEKHYUN, has a plethora of songs that are great for studying along with. But “Take You Home” has to be one of his best. The light electric guitar backing to BAEKHYUN’s naturally melodic voice will keep you in the zone for studying.

Kingdom Come - Red Velvet

“Kingdom Come” is one of Red Velvet’s most beloved tracks and for good reason. The girls’ harmonies in this track are iconic and will make you feel like you can accomplish anything! The incessant drumbeat throughout “Kingdom Come” and the RnB focused instrumentals allow for a relaxing listen.

LOVE ME - NU’EST

For those of you who need a track that has a little more power to get through a hard day of work, NU’EST’s “LOVE ME” would be a great pick. The addictive whistling and the staccato instrumentals of the chorus make the track a punchy listen.

The perfect study playlist is all about finding the right balance between energetic tracks to give you a push and ballads to keep you focused. Let us know which song you love studying with below.
