Two years after their music debut, BTS debuted in the reality show realm with Run BTS.

Three seasons and 156 episodes later, Run BTS is a feat of its own having turned the BTS members into variety show masters. The sheer amount of episodes can make it challenging for viewers to choose where to start. While you could start right at the beginning, we’ve collated five of the funniest, entertaining, and most iconic episodes to start you off with a bang(tan)!
Protect BTS Village (episodes 47-48)
In this epic game of mafia, BTS find themselves in BTS Village – which is protected by a stone called ARMY. Outsiders from the ‘Blue Village’ have snuck into BTS Village in an attempt to steal the stone. To keep the stone safe, BTS must investigate and search the village for clues over the course of three days and nights. On the last night they will vote for who they believe to be the intruders and if both are found BTS Village will be saved. These episodes began the lore of BTS Village that continues in future episodes, and they don’t come without their share of iconic scenes that still show up in edits today.
Summer Outing (episodes 83-85)
Taking place at Cheongpyeong Lake, these three episodes find BTS participating in a variety of water activities including a hilarious race on a complex water inflatable. This mini series ends with a heartfelt and cozy BBQ picnic. Regarded as one of the best collections of Run BTS episodes by ARMY, ‘Summer Outing’ is sure to have your stomach hurting from laughing. Photo Exhibition (episodes 104-106)
BTS have gathered to create seven different looks by remaking and styling clothes with hot glue guns and accessories they can win through playing a series of games. Once each outfit is finished, they are randomly assigned an outfit made by another member to wear for a photoshoot with a concept decided by the designer of the clothes. At the finale, the members vote for the best picture and the winner gets a glorious prize. This episode birthed one of the best inside jokes that ARMY has to date, so you’re in for a treat.
77 Minute Debate Session (episodes 131-132)
As potentially one of the most hilarious episodes to date, the ‘77 Minute Debate Session’ finds BTS partaking in a poolside debate. With three members sitting in front of water guns on either side of a moderator below a treacherous bucket of water that will drench them if a predetermined forbidden word or action are used, this episode will have you laughing out loud. With several twists and turns, this episode is a fine example of why the B in BTS might just stand for betrayal.
BTS Village – Joseon Dynasty (episodes 145-147)
We’re back in BTS Village, only this time, the BTS Village community members failed in saving the ARMY headstone that protected the village. In order to fix this, BTS must go back to the Joseon Dynasty to find and restore the ARMY headstone. All seven members are currently suspected as the thieves, resulting in the royal army also searching for them. Throughout the two rounds of this game, they must find the ARMY headstone, bring it back to base, determine the thieves, and travel back to 2021. If they don’t succeed, they will need to travel even further back in time to make things right. Will BTS ever make it back to the future?
